What Is Enough?

Post Image

Hey,

Last week, we explored the question “How grateful are you?” given that it was Thanksgiving. In that video I shared why gratitude is so important if you want to be rich financially and spiritually and I also shared why I’ve been keeping a gratitude journal for over 2 years now.

With so much food before us on Thanksgiving, we tend to get glutinous and overeat. Every Thanksgiving, once we finally start eating, there always comes a point.

I think you know what I’m talking about. For me, it’s usually as I’m filling my third plate because my eyes are bigger than my stomach. I reach this point just beyond enough where I realize that I would have been more satisfied if I had stopped 3 bites earlier.

But nooooooooo! I have this desire to eat more though my body is telling me you’ve had enough. What’s interesting is that we tend to live our lives like this too, especially when it comes to money.

This doesn’t just happen at Thanksgiving. It happens when we think about our income or our job titles and the power that comes with them or the size of our houses or the style of our cars or how many degrees we have.

And that leads us to this week’s questions which is…

WHAT IS ENOUGH?

I have a quick strategy that I think will help you envision your D.R.E.A.M. life—including your dream home, dream car, dream neighborhood—and come up with your enough number.

Your enough number is where success begins and anything else is just icing on the cake.
