Even though I went to business school and got a job in finance for a Fortune 500 health care company, I’ve always had entrepreneurial ideas. But given my busy work schedule, I never had time to move them forward. Jullien helped me identify which of my business ideas would be easiest to build organically without sacrificing quality time with my husband and two daughters. A client in their late 30s was referred by a mutual friend. He had worked in the same industry with the same company for 14 years. He was number 3 in the organization, but the founder wasn’t planning on leaving. Over a 10 week period, we met weekly to help him clarify what success meant for him and how he could shape his career to support his definition of success. Around session 6, he committed to his event which was to hold a board meeting of potential investors for his own venture. 15 friends and professional peers attended the meeting and the company has raised almost a million dollars to date.
Change After 10 Years With 1 Company
I was approached by a seasoned hedge fund professional with 10 years of sales and business development experience at a top firm who generated $1.5B in revenue for his firm during his career. Despite his results and ability to sale financial products, he had difficulty selling himself. He is a nice guy, but being nice wasn’t getting him what or where he wanted to go. Over a 10 week period, we worked together to identify a project that would put him back on the map professionally and position him for a promotion, bonus, or new job. At the end of our engagement, he had a pending offer with a firm that really interested him.
