Read More →“So, what do you do?” It’s the world’s most dreaded question. Few people like to answer it, but everyone asks it. When it is asked you expect some boring answer or pre-recorded pitch. Nobody really listens.
If you like answering it, then you’re either 1. doing what you love or 2. doing what everyone else would love to do even though you don’t like it. If you don’t like answering it, then you probably either 1. hate what you do and don’t know how you ended up there (i.e. underemployed) 2. love what you do, but don’t think other people value it, or 3. are in transition looking for your next move (i.e. unemployed).
Read More →All men are created equal, but all men don’t have equal resources when they are created. This inequity informs many of our purposes in that we either choose to SHARE or SECURE. Our purpose can be found by examining:
1. What we DIDN’T HAVE that we think everyone should have in life & seeking to SECURE, and/or
2. What we HAVE that we think everyone should have in life & seeking to SHARE
When bad things happen to people, they tend to ask “Why did this happen to me?”, but a more powerful question to ask is “Why did this happen for me?” All of our experiences are designed to direct us toward our purpose and highest self. Our purpose is a dream we forget when we are born and our life is an attempt to remember and relive it. Imagine that you actually got to choose all of things that would end up happening in your life before your were born to remind you of your purpose, but when you were born you forgot that you choose them. It would be like creating your own video game or obstacle course and then trying to beat it.
