Bio:

Alaia Williams, founder of One Organized Life, began organizing out of a passion to help others feel better about their environments. She created One Organized Life out of a desire to help people get a handle on areas of their lives that were in chaos. Her clients have included stay-at-home parents, teenagers, teachers, filmmakers, actors, photographers, store owners, and other business professionals.

During consults with clients, she heard people say many things, among them:
“I can’t find what I’m looking for.”
“I waste time looking for things.”
“My bills are always late.”
“I am too embarrassed to have anyone over.”
“My boss gets upset when I can’t put my hand right on the report he needs.”
“My employees can’t find what they need.”
“I’m drowning in a sea of papers.”
“I don’t want my kids to pick up my bad habits.”
“I’m missing out on potential clients because I can’t find their information.”
“I can’t park my car in my garage because it’s so full of stuff.”
“I have five staplers.”
“I avoid coming home because I don’t want to think about the mess.”
“I’m overwhelmed.”

Realizing that people do many things in their day to day lives, Alaia has shaped One Organized Life with the vision of helping clients get a firm grip on what is most important to them so they can achieve a greater sense of balance and peace in their everyday lives. In addition to her own personal studies, Alaia spent time learning a great deal about simplicity from Quakers – a group of people who rank simplicity among their top values. With the thought that people makes their lives way more complicated than they need to be, she works to blend simplicity into her organizing solutions every step of the way.

Instead of feeling like they were scattered and living a million different disconnected lives, the company was created to help people bring the pieces of the puzzle together – to have One Organized Life.
