Bio:

My name is Rolando Hernandez Rodriquez Brown.

I have three last names because my mother was kind enough to not limit my understanding of lineage, and the shoulders I stand on. I was raised on Jersey St., Staten Island for most of my life, but did have the pleasure of living in all five boroughs of NYC. I credit my bi-coastal, MVMT making lifestyle, primarily to the mix set of lessons I learned while being raised by many people on Jersey street. You can read more about there here.

Lots of my good friends and family members call me Grow.

It’s because I am invested logistically, physically, psychology, emotionally and spiritually in the process of “Growing” into the best representation of my highest self, and I spend a lot of my time helping others do the same.

This is my more professional bio, in the event that you would like to work together:

A marketing, technology and business development consultant by trade, Rolando Brown has helped launch new products for over a dozen clients. As Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for August Bishop, a New York-based marketing firm, he played an instrumental role in the agency’s successful acquisition and launch of products for L’Oréal, Turner Broadcasting Network, Sprite, the New York Knicks, Def Jam University and several other corporate clients.

Having majored in Leadership and Management Studies with concentrations in Organizational Behavior and Advertising/Public Relations at New York University, Rolando’s core competency lies in his ability to add breadth and depth to consumer technology in order to improve organizational capacity and personal productivity. A social entrepreneur armed with a commitment to creating economic and social advances in under-served communities, Brown works in both the profit and nonprofit sectors to develop processes of innovation and problem solving.

“I like to think that people appreciate me because of my work ethic; I’m young, astute, experienced and full of passion. Truthfully, this has given me great opportunities to stand on the shoulders of giants. I work for visionaries, building upon their accomplishments consistently. These visionaries trust me to see the big picture, understand the details, and then develop and allocate resources accordingly. Knowing how to take vision of growth and sustainability to the next level is what I do well. I grow, and grow things.”
